Depression Management in Islam
📍Problem: Loss of dear
ones
📍 Solution: Keep hope on
Allah
📍 Story of Prophet Yakoob AS and Yusuf AS is good
example for those who loss their loved ones but still have a feeling that they
can be re-joined with their loved relatives.
It took decades before both met when prophet
Yakoob was blind and very old. But he kept his hope on Almighty in all his days
of suffering.
We should take a lesson from the story that
keeping hope on Allah is the best solution, May be he has better plan for the
loss person.
📍Remember the words of Prophet Yakoob AS as mention
in Quran
•
•
He said: "I will
address my sorrow and grief only to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do
not know. (86) My sons! Go and try to
find out about Joseph and his brother and do not despair of Allah's mercy.
Verily only the unbelievers despair of Allah's mercy." (12:87)
