Depression Management in Islam
▶️ Problem: People’s
Mocking
▶️
Solution:
Forgiving others
📍 We often see people making fun of us when we
are doing something challenging. When such people belong to our near and dear
ones, it hurts a lot. We expect them to motivate and support us, but instead
they discourage and warn us of the worst-case scenarios.
📌 If we take too seriously then we found
ourselves heartbroken & dejected. We develop grudges against them. Quran
Says the correct way forward is not only to restrain our anger but also to
forgive them. This will lighten our heart and mind and help us to concentrate
on more important tasks ahead. In such cases we should:
✅ Ignore
people who are mocking us
✅
Restrain
our anger and should not distract our resource in responding them
✅
Forgive
them to get relaxed.
✅
Keep
continuing our challenging path for success
Allah
says:
•
• who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." (3: 134)
