We as humans are sent on this planet to fulfil our two roles

Unless we understand our role and position in this world, we will not be able to do justice with ourselves and the environment around us. Prophet Mohammed pbuh has clearly demarcated our limits and boundaries; the more we understand it the more prosperous our life will be.

 

عنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ جُرْثُومِ بن نَاشِر رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَال: "إنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى فَرَضَ فَرَائِضَ فَلَا تُضَيِّعُوهَا، وَحَدَّ حُدُودًا فَلَا تَعْتَدُوهَا، وَحَرَّمَ أَشْيَاءَ فَلَا تَنْتَهِكُوهَا، وَسَكَتَ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ رَحْمَةً لَكُمْ غَيْرَ نِسْيَانٍ فَلَا تَبْحَثُوا عَنْهَا". حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، رَوَاهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيّ ْ"في سننه" [4/184]،

On the authority of Jurthum bin Nashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Verily Allah the Almighty has laid down religious obligations (fara'id), so do not neglect them. He has set boundaries, so do not overstep them. He has prohibited some things, so do not violate them; about some things He was silent, out of compassion for you, not forgetfulness, so seek not after them. [Daraqutni]

ابو ثعلبہ الکشانی جرثوم بن نشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ نے دینی فرائض (فرائد) مقرر کیے ہیں، لہٰذا ان میں کوتاہی نہ کرو۔ اور اس نے حدیں مقرر کر رکھی ہیں سو ان سے تجاوز نہ کرو۔ اور اس نے بعض چیزوں کو حرام کیا ہے تو ان کی خلاف ورزی نہ کرو۔ اور اس نے کچھ چیزوں کے بارے میں خاموشی اختیار کی ہے، آپ کے لیے ہمدردی کی وجہ سے، نہ بھولنے کی وجہ سے - اس لیے ان کی تلاش نہ کریں۔ دارقطنی ۔
