7. Lies & Fasting
Liar is looked upon in Low esteem in every society. Islam consider
lying as a characteristic of hypocrisy. A muslim should be trustworthy and
Honest. During Ramadan this habit is strongly recommended, and Muslims are
reminded that if they are lying in words and deeds then the fasting will have no
value in front of Allah.
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ
اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ
وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ، فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ فِي أَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ
وَشَرَابَهُ.

ابوہریرہ ؓ نے کہ رسول اللہ
ﷺ نے فرمایا، اگر کوئی شخص جھوٹ
بولنا اور دغا بازی کرنا (روزے رکھ کر بھی) نہ چھوڑے تو اللہ تعالیٰ کو اس کی کوئی ضرورت
نہیں کہ وہ اپنا کھانا پینا چھوڑ دے۔ صحیح بخاری
• Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): The
Prophet ﷺ said,
"Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in
need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his
fasting.)“ Bukhari
May Allah make us Honest and trustable. Aameen
