 12. Quran – Book of Guidance

Quran was revealed in Ramadan which has given this month so much priviledge. This book (Quran) is guidance from our creator in a simple language and clear message which distinct truth with falsehood. Allah says:

شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ

رمضان وہ مہینہ ہے، جس میں قرآن نازل کیا گیا جو انسانوں کے لیے سراسر ہدایت ہے اور ایسی واضح تعلیمات پر مشتمل ہے، جو راہ راست دکھانے والی اور حق و باطل کا فرق کھول کر رکھ دینے والی ہیں

•       Ramadan is the month in which the Qur'an was sent down: this Book is a perfect guidance for mankind and consists of clear teachings which show the right way and are a criterion of Truth and falsehood. (2:185)

In another verse Allah says Quran guide mankind from darkness to light

•      الر ۚ كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ ﴿١﴾

ا ل ر اے محمدؐ، یہ ایک کتاب ہے جس کو ہم نے تمہاری طرف نازل کیا ہے تاکہ تم لوگوں کو تاریکیوں سے نکال کر روشنی میں لاؤ، ان کے رب کی توفیق سے، اُس خدا کے راستے پر جو زبردست اور اپنی ذات میں آپ محمود ہے

•       Alif-Lam-Ra. (This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness into light by their Lord's leave to the path of the Almighty, the Praised. (14:1)
