 25. Refuge from Hell fire

The last third of Ramadan is for seeking refuge from Hell fire. As stated by Prophet PBUH:

وعن سلمان قال : خطبنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم في آخر يوم من شعبان فقال هو شهر أوله رحمة وأوسطه مغفرة وآخره عتق من النار

حضرت سلمان فارسی ؓ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول کریم ﷺ نے  فرمایا کہ ماہ رمضان وہ مہینہ ہے جس کے آخری حصے میں دوزخ کی آگ سے نجات ہے ۔ مشکوٰۃ المصابیح

Salman Farsi(RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger said….Third Part Reflects Safety from the Hell (Nijat). (Bayhaqi)

During this period we should regularly seek protection from Hell and entry to Paradise

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنِ اسْتَجَارَ مِنَ النَّارِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَتِ النَّارُ اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ‏"‏ ‏

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times, Paradise will say: 'O Allah, admit him to Paradise.' And whoever seeks protection from Hell three times, Hell will say: 'O Allah, protect him from the Fire.’” (Nasai)

May Allah save us from the agony of Hell fire and provide us life of Jannah. Aameen
