 Deceptive enjoyment

Know well that the life of this world is merely sport and diversion and adornment and an object of your boasting with one another, and a rivalry in the multiplication of riches and children. Its likeness is that of rain: when it produces vegetation it delights the tillers. But then it withers and you see it turn yellow, and then it crumbles away. In the Hereafter there is (either) grievous chastisement (or) forgiveness from Allah and (His) good pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but delusion.

What has been tried to emphasized is that this worldly life is actually a temporary life. There are a lot of things to entertain the heart, but in reality they are very insignificant and small things which, due to their inferiority, a man thinks world as big things and falls into the delusion. The conflict between truth and falsehood, disbelief and faith, and the difference in the standards of success and failure is the reason for nothing except that human beings have decided very little whether the destiny of man is this world or the hereafter. People who have considered the world as their destination have a completely different goal of their efforts. And those who have made their destination hereafter, their life is completely different. Those who believe in the Hereafter as their goal, believe in Allah Almighty and His Messenger and His religion, and their whole life is spent in building the Hereafter and making it their goal. They treat the world and worldly life as a mere necessity, never making the mistake of calling it a goal. But for those who make this world their destination, hereafter is nothing but an illusion.

The next part of the verse mentions the similarities and differences found between human and plant life. This article has come up with many repetitions in the Holy Quran that there is a deep resemblance and compatibility between the botanical cycle and the human life cycle. This analogy is actually intended to tell a person that if you want to understand the reality of your life, look at a farmer's crop cycle. In this harvest period you find your birth, youth, old age, death and soil

The real map of soiling will be seen. The example of‬‎ human life is like "when it rains, the rain produced by it is very good for the farmers."

"Then that field comes to its full strength"

"Then you see that it turns yellow"

"Then it is cut and becomes sawdust."

A complete picture of human life can be seen in it. When a child is born, joy is celebrated. Then he becomes young and reaches his full strength. Then the age would change and lose his strength and become old.

Capitalist life had become the destiny of man. Now there are riots against it in capitalist countries. And a large part of the world has revolted against it in the name of socialism. While the reality is nothing but that which he said giving an example that when it rains, the produce starts to waver, then the farmer does not know how to nurture his dreams and what kind of imaginary life he starts imagining, then suddenly he  sees that the same crop starts turning yellow and then dries up and crumbles.

The end of worldly life is no different. A person who works day and night succeeds in accumulating wealth and creates a financial empire for himself, But once death approaches him, he will be laid to rest without any belonging.

Hence don't get deceived with the worldly life but prepare yourselves for the life hereafter.
