الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا دِيۡنَهُمۡ لَهۡوًا وَّلَعِبًا وَّغَرَّتۡهُمُ الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَا‌‌ ۚ فَالۡيَوۡمَ نَنۡسٰٮهُمۡ كَمَا نَسُوۡا لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِهِمۡ هٰذَا ۙ وَمَا كَانُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا يَجۡحَدُوۡنَ‏ ۞

جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو کھیل اور تفریح بنا لیا تھا اور جنہیں دنیا کی زندگی نے فریب میں مبتلا کر رکھا تھا اللہ فرماتا ہے کہ آج ہم بھی انہیں اسی طرح بھلا دیں گے جس طرح وہ اِس دن کی ملاقات کو بھولے رہے اور ہماری آیتوں کا انکار کرتے رہے“

Those who have made their religion a sport and play. and whom the life of the world has beguiled. So on that Day We shall forget them in the manner they forget their meeting of this Day with Us and persist in denying Our revelations.’ [7:51]

•    What is Trivial Lifestyle?

The Lifestyle of people who doesn’t believe in life after death is enjoyments and recreation only. He prefers to spend as much luxury as he can in the world. In their eyes, this world remains only a place of entertainment in which every person should depart from this world after enjoying luxury and entertainment according to his status.

They considered the worship of Allah Ta'ala as a waste of time, an unlawful observance of the rules of religion, and considered obedience to Allah and His Messenger as slavery for themselves, and turned away from it in the world's pleasures, prestige and progress. Immersed in such a way that the life of this world is considered eternal compared to the hereafter.

 

•  How such lifestyle impact one’s behaviour?

Such behaviour has severe consequences, Why did they remain blind to the most serious realities of life? He said that the life of the world kept them deceived. They saw that they were eating, drinking, luxuriating, eating and that no harm was happening to them, so they understood that the world was created only for this purpose. If a servant of Allah pointed out to them that there will be a reckoning one day after that, then they should dismiss him as mad who is curbing our freedom and luxury

•  What’s the consequences in the life hereafter?

On the Day of Resurrection, such people will also be treated according to their views. They forgot the Last Day and accountability before Allah, then Allah will forget them in the same way. In order to see the reaction of those who have indulged in the world.

On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will ask this kind of servant, did I not give you a wife and children? Weren't you honoured? and weren't camels and horses made subject to you? Didn't he receive bribes from the people while being a leader? He will say why not? Oh Allah, all these things are true, Allah Ta'ala will ask him, did he believe in my meeting? He will say no, Allah Ta'ala will say, 'So just as you used to forget me, today I also forget you' (Sahih Muslim).

One of the meanings of Nisyan is to forget, while the other meaning is to deliberately ignore.

• کھیل اور تماشے کی طرز زندگی کیا ہے؟

جو لوگ موت کے بعد کی زندگی پر یقین نہیں رکھتے ان کا طرز زندگی صرف لطف اندوزی اور تفریح ہے۔ وہ دنیا میں زیادہ سے زیادہ عیش و عشرت خرچ کرنے کو ترجیح دیتا ہے۔ ان کی نظر میں یہ دنیا صرف تفریح کی جگہ رہ گئی ہے جس میں ہر شخص اپنی حیثیت کے مطابق عیش و عشرت کے بعد اس دنیا سے رخصت ہو جائے۔

انہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی عبادت کو وقت کا ضیاع، دین کے احکام کی پابندی اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی اطاعت کو اپنے لیے غلامی سمجھا اور دنیا کی لذتوں، عزتوں اور ترقی میں اس سے منہ موڑ لیا۔ . اس طرح ڈوبا کہ دنیا کی زندگی آخرت کے مقابلے میں ابدی سمجھی جاتی ہے۔

 

• اس طرز زندگی سے کسی کے رویے پر کیا اثر پڑتا ہے؟

ایسے رویے کے سنگین نتائج نکلتے ہیں، وہ زندگی کی سنگین ترین حقیقتوں سے اندھی کیوں رہے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ دنیا کی زندگی نے انہیں دھوکے میں رکھا۔ انہوں نے دیکھا کہ وہ کھا رہے ہیں، پی رہے ہیں، عیش و عشرت کر رہے ہیں، کھا رہے ہیں اور انہیں کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچ رہا ہے، تو انہوں نے سمجھا کہ دنیا صرف اسی مقصد کے لیے بنائی گئی ہے۔ اگر اللہ کا کوئی بندہ ان کی طرف اشارہ کرے کہ اس کے بعد ایک دن حساب ہوگا تو وہ اس کو دیوانہ قرار دے دیں جو ہماری آزادی اور عیش و عشرت پر قدغن لگا رہا ہے۔

• آخرت کی زندگی میں کیا نتائج ہوں گے؟

قیامت کے دن ایسے لوگوں سے بھی ان کے خیالات کے مطابق سلوک کیا جائے گا۔ وہ اللہ کے سامنے یوم آخرت اور احتساب کو بھول گئے، پھر اللہ بھی انہیں اسی طرح بھول جائے گا۔ تاکہ دنیا میں لعن طعن کرنے والوں کا ردعمل دیکھا جا سکے۔

قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ اس بندے سے پوچھے گا کہ کیا میں نے تجھے بیوی بچے نہیں دیے؟ کیا آپ کو عزت نہیں دی گئی؟ اور کیا اونٹ اور گھوڑے تمہارے تابع نہیں تھے؟ کیا اس نے لیڈر ہوتے ہوئے عوام سے رشوت نہیں لی؟ وہ کہے گا کیوں نہیں؟ اے اللہ، یہ سب باتیں سچ ہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے پوچھے گا، کیا وہ میری ملاقات پر یقین رکھتا ہے؟ وہ کہے گا نہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا، جس طرح تم مجھے بھول جاتے تھے، آج میں بھی تمہیں بھول گیا ہوں (صحیح مسلم)

نسیان کا ایک معنی بھول جانا ہے جبکہ دوسرا معنی جان بوجھ کر نظر انداز کرنا ہے۔
