Strugglers vs Excusers

Those believers who sit at home, unless they do so out of a disabling injury, are not the equals of those who strive in the way of Allah with their possessions and their lives. Allah has exalted in rank those who strive with their possessions and their lives over those who sit at home; and though to each Allah has promised some good reward, He has preferred those who strive (in the way of Allah) over those who sit at home for a mighty reward.[4:95]

Whenever there is a need for supporting the oppressed, the society split among two groups

  • ·         Those who step up to fight against the oppressors to bring them to justice
  • ·         Those who don’t take actions and just comments or ignore the condition.

Allah says that both of them are not equal even though both keep praying, fasting and keep remembering Him. Allah will rewards them with their Intentions, abilities and efforts.

As Islam needs proactive followers to rise to the occasion whenever demanded

Obligation Of timing, the government has to work with the general public. In other words, everyone is ordered to leave, as the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Lord gave a general command on the occasion of the Battle of Tabuk. In such a case, no Muslim can stay behind and the Muslim who stays behind without any Shariah excuse will be considered a hypocrite. But if Jihad is obligatory, then Muslims are encouraged to leave.

If Jihad is not obligatory on every man. If people go out for Jihad according to the need, this responsibility will be removed from the rest of the people like the funeral prayer. If they are busy with their legitimate needs, neither the government will attack them nor any Muslim can criticize them.

However, it is important that the people left behind who have no Shariah excuse for being left behind and those who go for Jihad are not equal in terms of reward and status. If those who are left behind are engaged in important work such as writing and compiling, are engaged in education or are engaged in business so as to support the Mujahideen. All these actions are not only permissible but also deserving of rewards.

But traveling in the way of Allah, the difficulty of the Journey To lift, to bear the severity of the weather and then to offer up one's life for the pleasure of Allah is a task that cannot be equaled by anyone.

That's why he said that Allah has given rewards and rewards for those who stay at home but fulfill legitimate goals, but they cannot be equal to the Mujahideen in terms of rewards and rewards.

Allah has given the Mujahideen a great reward over the Qa'ideen. It is His mercy, but those who sit at home are certainly deserving of reward, but they cannot deserve what Allah has reserved for the Mujahideen. In a way, Muslims are being encouraged to wage jihad. And this notion is also being given that all the legitimate works of life are to be done and you should participate in them and all the responsibilities are to be fulfilled, you should worry about paying them. But when Jihad becomes obligatory, then the person who desires to be close to Allah and wants the greatest reward should go for Jihad. This is a virtue that has no equal. And

This is the work with which the honors of nations are attached. (Ruh Ul Quran)
