At-Taubah 9:88
لَٰكِنِ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ جَٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتُۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all that is] good and it is those who are the successful.
بخلاف اس کے رسولؐ نے اور ان لوگوں نے جو رسولؐ کے ساتھ ایمان لائے تھے ا پنی جان و مال سے جہاد کیا اور اب ساری بھلائیاں انہی کے لیے ہیں اور وہی فلاح پانے والے ہیں
Role of believers:
The role of the Messenger of Allah and those who believe in him is that they always consider it a blessing to spend their wealth in the way of Allah and their lives. They are reluctant to make offerings. They believe that the purpose of our life is to establish the sovereignty of God on God's earth. If we have to spend money for the success of this goal, then we are present, and if we have to give our lives, then we do not hesitate because all this is the religion of Allah and His gift. When one of these things is needed for the dominance of his religion, there is no justification for withholding it. If they live, they live for it and if they die, they die for it.
These are the people for whom there are benefits, comforts, honors and prosperity in this world and the hereafter. Allah has prepared for them gardens under which rivers flow. In which they will remain forever and there they will be blessed with the pleasure and closeness of Allah.
